Is Earl Grey Tea Beneficial to Your Health?

Is Earl Grey Tea Beneficial to Your Health?

To tea connoisseurs, high-quality tea is more than simply a beverage; it's a fragrant and delicate elixir whose secret powers inspire calm, vitality, and creativity in quiet times. We believe in tea magic here at Bondi Beach Tea Co, but we also know that the advantages of tea consumption extend beyond the mind and may significantly influence the physical. Earl Grey Tea, which can be found in our tea range, is one of our favourites.

EARL GREY TEA: WHAT IS IT?

Earl Grey is usually made using black tea leaves and bergamot oil. Bergamot oil is extracted from the rind of a bergamot orange, giving it a rich and warming citrus flavour. We are quite proud of a few famous Earl Grey tea varieties that we sell at Bondi Beach Tea Co.

Tea is hydrating in the same way as water, unlike coffee, which may dry the body. Tea is also known to relieve stress and provide a boost throughout the day, and unsweetened tea is a calorie-free, gluten-free beverage. Earl Grey tea, in particular, has modest levels of iron, potassium, magnesium, riboflavin, and folic acid, all of which are known to be beneficial to health.

    EARL GREY'S HEALTH BENEFITS

According to certain research, drinking Earl Grey tea on a daily basis has some health benefits. The antioxidants in black tea and bergamot oil are the main players.

A HEALTHY HEART IS A HEALTHY HEART.

Bergamot oil includes flavonoids, which have been found to inhibit cholesterol-producing enzymes, lowering cholesterol levels. On the other side, black tea may help to reduce blood pressure. When you combine the two, your cup of Earl Grey is likely to be beneficial to your cardiovascular system.

    SUPPORTS DIGESTION AND WEIGHT LOSS

Black tea polyphenols may help with weight reduction by inhibiting lipid digestion and promoting fat metabolism. Bergamot flavonoids have been found to lower inflammation and kill germs that cause stomach ulcers in rats with a kind of inflammatory bowel illness.
